Welcome! We are so happy to have you with us as we continue the journey of Catholic Faith Formation. At the heart of these classes is something deeply human and deeply sacred: the sharing of our faith story.
Our Catholic faith is not just a set of lessons or practices—it is a living story that begins with God’s love, revealed through Scripture, Tradition, and the life of Jesus Christ. In Faith Formation, we pass this story on, just as it has been shared for generations: through prayer, Scripture, Sacraments, and the witness of our lives.
Faith Formation classes give us the space to listen to God’s story and to recognize how it continues in our own lives today. As we learn together, we discover how the teachings of the Church connect to our daily experiences, guide our choices, and help us respond to God’s call with faith and courage.
By sharing our faith—our questions, our hopes, and our joys—we grow as a community rooted in Christ. Together, we keep the story of our faith alive, ensuring it is not only remembered, but lived and passed on with love.
Thank you for being part of this journey. We look forward to growing together as we continue to tell and live the story of our Catholic faith.
Our Schedule for 2026-2027:
Faith Formation classes for Pre-K through 7th grade will be Sunday Mornings from 10:10- 11:15. This time was chosen to allow families to attend either the 9:00 Mass or the 11:30 Mass.
8th Grade Confirmation Prep Year 1 Class will be on Sundays from 4:30-5:45 pm
9th Grade Confirmation Prep Year 2 Class will be on Sunday nights following the Life Teen Mass until 9pm
(Both of these classes allow families to attend the Life Teen Mass at 6:00pm each Sunday.)
Sacramental preparation, for First Holy Communion or Confirmation, includes two years of preparation classes. This usually takes place in 1st and 2nd grade for First Holy Communion. Confirmation preparation is typically in 8th and 9th grades. If your child has not received their sacraments in those grades, we can help you get caught up and receive their sacraments after a two-year preparation program that is age appropriate. We will work with you to support your family as your child prepares to receive their sacraments, the amazing gifts of our church.
If you have any questions, please reach out to our Director of Religious Education, Teresa Caraker at tcaraker@ignatius.net
We are so blessed to partner with you to help your child grow in God’s love. May God bless you and your beautiful families.
