The first phase
project includes a 13,000 square foot Parish Center adjacent to
the existing school. The Parish Center will provide a Multipurpose
Room for full court basketball/volleyball, bleacher seating along
with table seating in excess of 400 chairs for receptions and
other events. A new full service commercial kitchen with serving
counters to both the Cafeteria and Multipurpose room are included.
A new combination Lobby/Cafeteria will serve as the school
cafeteria and a place for buffet serving for larger events. The
Lobby /Cafeteria will display a "Dedication Wall" with engraved
bricks and limestone crosses indicating contributions from
parishoners and local organizations. New handicapped restrooms and
a coat closet will be adjacent to the Lobby. Two new classrooms
are included in the first phase with the capability of one
classroom being transformed into a Theatrical Stage off the
multipurpose room in the future. A Utility/Storage room is also
included in the First Phase plans. The Second Phase of the
project will include the addition of eight new Classrooms, a new
Administrative Suite and Restrooms.
The construction
of the building and planned future addition will be a
pre-engineered metal building system. The front Elevation will
include two covered entrances with Brick veneer, EIFS and metal
wall panels.
Site Development
will include a new drive behind the existing school with parking
for approximately 80 vehicles. Additional handicapped parking has
been added near the Rectory and Sanctuary also. Relocation of the
existing metal storage building and a new on-site sewage system is
included.
